Membership and credits

These rules describe FilmGleam scanning, memberships and AI credits. Available products, your local price and the billing period are shown in the app and Google Play before you confirm a purchase.

Free scanning and Pro

The free version includes up to 10 successfully saved scans. The limit is tracked on your device. Cancelling a capture or a failed save does not use a free scan. Editing or sharing an existing photo does not count as another scan.

Pro includes unlimited scans and exports while your membership is active. Your saved photos remain available for viewing and editing when your membership ends. Further exports require an unused free export or an active Pro membership. Scans and conventional edits are processed on your phone. Purchases, activation and AI require an internet connection; Pro may require a connection to verify that it is still active.

Three free exports

The free version includes 3 exports in total; Pro is required from the fourth. Saving to the phone gallery, saving a file and sharing use the same allowance. Exporting the same photo again counts as another export. The counter is stored on your installation, separately from scans and AI credits.

A gallery or file export counts after the save succeeds. Sharing counts when you select an app or an external action in the phone share menu; FilmGleam cannot confirm what happens afterward in another app. Opening or cancelling the menu without selecting a destination does not count. An internal save, crop, retouch or AI copy does not count as an export. Failed gallery or file saves do not use an export.

Exports completed while Pro is active do not spend the free allowance. When Pro ends, any unused free exports remain available; previously used exports are not reset.

Membership plans

Included enhancements become available after payment is verified. They do not roll over and unused included credits expire at the end of that paid period. A pending payment does not activate Pro or grant spendable credits.

Additional AI credits

When your available balance is exhausted, eligible members can purchase a pack of 10 additional enhancements. These purchased credits do not expire automatically and may still be used after Pro ends. Buying a pack does not renew the membership or extend unlimited scans or exports.

Credits belong to the FilmGleam account used for the purchase. Deleting that account deletes its remaining balance, including purchased packs; creating a new account does not recreate previously delivered credits. Contact support before deletion if you need help with a purchase.

Using and recovering credits

One completed AI enhancement or colorization uses one credit. Local scanning, filters, cropping, small-spot retouching and sharing do not use AI credits. A pending request may reserve a credit while its result is checked. Recovering an already generated result does not use another credit. When we confirm that no result was generated, the reserved credit is released.

AI may change details and interpret colors. We keep the original photo separately. AI results are not a guarantee of historical accuracy.

Renewal, cancellation and restoration

Subscriptions renew for the selected period unless you cancel renewal in Google Play. Cancelling renewal keeps access through the verified paid period. If a purchase is refunded, revoked or no longer valid, membership access and unused credits are adjusted accordingly.

To recover valid purchases, use Restore purchases in your FilmGleam account settings with the same FilmGleam and Google Play accounts. If Google Play confirmed a payment but the app could not verify it, restore the purchase instead of buying it again.

Deleting FilmGleam, deleting your account or signing out does not cancel a subscription. Manage subscriptions in Google Play.

Prices and availability

Prices and availability depend on your Google Play account and region. The final amount, currency and renewal period are shown before payment. Any annual saving is calculated from the comparable annual and monthly prices available for your account.

If an account is eligible for the promotional AI trial, it includes one enhancement available for 48 hours after account creation, subject to availability and usage limits. This promotion does not require a payment card or start a paid subscription automatically.
